In the case of metal awnings they need to be flexible so they normally comprise of slats of aluminium that slot into the framework so that when the awning is not required they can simply be rolled back into the housing and out of sight. Even though these awnings comprise of slats they can still be purchased with logos and individual designs printed on them if a business wishes to use them for advertising purposes as well as protection so they are a product well worth thinking about.
