Canopies are structures that are designed to cover walkways, doors, sides of buildings etc. to protect us from adverse weather conditions or even to provide shade in the summer. The two main metals used are aluminium, excellent for being lightweight and keeping its strength or steel sheets that can be even stronger than aluminium. The canopy supports and frame are usually manufactured from strong steel tubing and if erected properly should stand the test of time.

Using metal can work out slightly more expensive than the fabric canopies but long term they will work out cheaper as they are more durable.
